Well Sunday is Justin's haircut day, we always go to Kadena on Sunday night for him to get a haircut. I some how convinced Justin that he needed to quit playing WoW early so I could take Katara's 9 month pictures, with the restrictions I didn't get any good 8 month pics so I needed to do pictures. Korbin has been begging to go bowling for ages now, so we went tonight, it was $1 a game so it was pretty affordable! The boys and Justin played the first game, I sat it out to hold Katara after her little incident, more to come on that later. They did great, the bumpers were electronic and you could set them to come up only for certain players. Korbin ended up almost beating his daddy. The next game I played, well 1 game was enough for the boys by the 3rd frame on the 2nd game they were done, so not as much fun when mommy played, and did I mention I threw more gutter balls than almost humanly possible?
After we were done bowling Justin went and ordered us some dinner, Korbin chose a hotdog and french fries, Kane chose pizza, Justin got a hamburger and french fries and I got nachos, only b/c I didn't want any of the before mentioned foods. Before we got our food I dropped Justin's cup of soda on the ground so that set the tone for a terrible meal, my chips were so salty even Justin couldn't eat them and the cheese tasted like spicy mustard with a bit a cheese mixed in, would've been great on a big pretzel! I later found out as I was ordered Justin a new drink they had taco rice, which is my total fav. I ended up throwing out the nachos and eating the boys leftovers, not much but tasty!
Now on to Katara's accident. As we were taking the pictures I wanted to put all 3 kids on this bench and take the pictures. Korbin was crying b/c he threw a rock at Kane and he got in trouble. I took 1 picture but Justin didn't like my angel so he took the camera from me, I moved out of his way and Katara fell off the bench, she landed on her head and should with a thud and a scream. Korbin started sobbing saying he was a bad brother for not catching her and Kane was like that was awesome. She's ok, but she got scratches on her face and dirt in her hair. The rest of the night if I put her down she would scream.
So I guess somebody needs to pass me bad mom of the year award, it scared me to death but she didn't even get a knot on her head, only a few scratches. I'm just glad it was dirt under the bench and not rocks or tree roots.

Isn't it wonderful that kids are so resilient. Did you know that an infant's hand can be closed in a door with no damage? The bones must be so flexible. I remember being terrified when this happened and pleasantly surprised to find that their was no lasting harm.
Sounds like you had a night to remember. I like how you guys are always getting out and doing fun things.
