Tug of War

This past weekend we went to the Naha Tug of War... it was a huge crowd but I am so glad we went out. Pictures were hard to take because it was so crowded but JB did a few videos I am going to attempt to put on youtube later. What family trip would be complete without a food shot, so here is "meat" on a stick we ordered and the other bowl was a bowl of fried grissel... yummy Kane and JB ate it and loved it. I tried a bite and had to spit it out, it was too "bouncy" Katara tried a bite and spit it out, korbin ate one but didn't want any more.

'The Barrel Restaurant"

How cool a restaurant shaped like a barrel?! I ate here with some of the girls from MOPS and decided that I had to take the boys there. We started out with

Bios on the Hill

Korbin won a ticket to this place at the Summer Reading Program Party. When he found out he won tickets he got so excited and said," I can't wait to see Nena & PawPaw, they will be so proud that I won these tickets by myself!" I told him they were tickets to a place here that we could go to during family fun week he was still excited! There was so much to do at this place that we could have spent a lot longer there but it was hot so we did the water buffalo wagon ride, the pontoon boat ride and just walking around. The dragon things spit out a mist of water every now and then which was cool. They had a maze that the kids loved and Korbin was the first to get through it, he said hi mommy and went back in for Kane!

Tropical Beach

Justin finally got to go to the beach with us, he was SUPER surprised about how well the kids do and how much they actually love the water. We stayed for about 2 hours, a storm was rolling in and we got our stuff back to the car just in time to take a picture under the "rainbow" that JB & I had our picture taken under in 2001, then it started pouring.
