We do not come from scouting families, so when Korbin said he wanted to join I was a little hesitant. Finally last week we said yes and signed him up and purchased his uniform. He had his first meeting last week, there will be LOTS of learning on my part. Akela, what is an Akela and why do I have to be called that?!?!?!? He is loving it and already working hard to earn whatever it is he is to be striving for (this is where I need to finish reading the handbook) His leader seemed a little worried when I got mixed up and called the den meeting a pack meeting and then couldn't find our house on the map provided for the lesson, oh well. Possibly I will be learning right along with Korbin did you know that North is 360 degrees?

Hang in there Mom - this is a perfect Korbin activity. It's about routine & order - - - Korbin's perfect world. He looks so handsome in his uniform. Nena is very proud!
