update

It is now almost the first of March! I can't believe that we have been here exactly a year and a half. Time has flown, time has stood still. On those days when I think about how slow the time is going I look back at the pictures of our first day here and my list of things I want to do here before we leave. This week we will say goodbye to a friend here, goodbyes always make me sad, especially since we actually stay in contact with so few of these people. Some of these people have came into our lives and became family, those are the ones we miss the most. It is especially hard on the kids, there are days when both boys, especially Korbin ask if any of our FLW guys will come to visit. Sometimes he makes pictures of him playing with the guys and aseks if they have forgotten him. I hope we never become immune to the farewells of these special people.

Katara is having a language explosion, Kane is listening so much better and controlling his emotions better as well, and Korbin is learning so much, he is reading well and writing sentences. A lot of you will find these things out for yourself when we come back to MO in April...yep plane tickets are purchased and we will be home! We are excited and dreading this trip for obvious reasons, but it will be great to see everybody!

Needless to say - we're excited here too!!!! Loved the pictures. Dad says it's about time you used that camera. Didn't realize it is apple blossom time. Would like to have one of the Katara pictures for my frame - she's changed so much since last year's Easter pictures. xo

So...I so want to see you! I know you will be busy, though! We should have a quick get together at a restaurant or something and get the old gang together!
