Houston, we have a walker!

Last night before bed I was talking to J on the phone in the kitchen. Katara was playing on the floor "organizing" the clean clothes in the kid's clothes baskets. She was already pulled up to them and she turned and just took off. She was wearing one of those halo sleep sacs so I don't even know how she did it. She took 5 steps squatted down and crawled over to the sink pulled up and I wish I had a camera she had this adorable look on her face, you could tell she was proud and she laughed. In the next hour or so before she went to bed she took several more steps! I know in a few weeks I will be saying why was I so excited won't she just stay still? But it is a HUGE milestone. The boys both walked at 15 months so she is about a month early...I know I'll stop comparing. And I promise one day I will get those 1 year and 5 year old pictures done. I have some taken already, one involving a blanket made by a wonderfully sweet lady from my old church. It turned out really cute! But poor Korbin I have no ideas of a back ground for his. So for now I'll leave you with some words from the wise Kane, "lots of cheese makes you're poop rocks!" and my favorite of the week, "if I kiss this (dead beetle we found in the car)will it turn to life?" I am happy to report no beetles were kissed and BOTH boys ended up holding it before throwing it out the window...we're making some progress here!
