A Little Bit of Summer Organizing Fun!

So I took my final today, when I got back I was relaxed (despite the lack of sleep due to Katara's croup) so I re-did our chore chart and I LOVE it. I used magnetic tape this time so it feels a lot less wasteful.I let the boys choose what animals they wanted they wanted on the the marker for completing the chore. I was able to do a chore chart and teeth brushing chart on 1 magnetic dry erase board! How exciting. This was a topic on a flylady blog thing I belong too a long time ago and I thought man I need to make new ones but never felt motivated and relaxed enough to do it, I still have to refine it a bit but all in all it turned out well. I think I will take my other magnetic dry erase board and work on a daily schedule where we can put things in like the library, playgroup, beach... since I have MY OWN CAR NOW!!!!

Yeah that's right I bought a car last week, hooray for us! No car sharing hopefully for a long time!

Oh yeah and I want to wish Aunt Lillie and wonderful birthday, we love you so much and I swear I bought you a card, I just can't seem to find it after the kids decorated it!

Awesome! You should post this on FLYlady for sure! I so want to transfer my chore charts to magnetic white boards. I just have been too cheap to think about buying 3 of them. I'm going to start keeping my eyes out for a bargain. So, did you put a full piece of paper on the magnetic board and the magnets just work through the paper?

Yeah it is just a piece of paper with magnetic "chore" only the chart is printed on the paper. The boards were expensive but I happen to love to pretend to be organized so I bought them!

Yes, the list was a long one to type...and I thought of some more things to add. Did Dugan tell you that Daniel did the tour? He is in charge of tours...so much fun, but he was exausted when it was over. We have had 2 tours with tons of kids the past 2 weeks. The Paris group was 250! WOW. We were hoping the kids had a good time...I am glad to know that they did! Wish I had summer school like that when I was a kid...fun field trips and prizes and no "school work!"
