I must admit in my old age, I am starting to love all forms of art. And yes I am getting old...I found a grey eye brow:( so I wiped my tears and took a deep look inside. What do I LOVE? Well that's a stupid question I love my kids, what is my passion? I don't know I"m flighty and unsettled probably always will be I bounce from one thing another quite frequently. I used to look at things and see only face value, yeah that's a pretty picture, oh that's a great film, love that beat. But now after knowing a very talented artist, one I truly admire I have began to realize how much goes into these types of things. Art is everywhere, it's everything and not just the obvious things. I love to walk along the sea wall, of course I love the ocean but I love love love the graphitti. Someone came out and put their heart and souls into these works of art. Some are graphic and not for they eyes of children, some tell love stories, some tell stores of pain and loss, some are just characters, some are milestone markers. But they are all wonderful.
I have recently became more interested in photography and graphic design. I am a novice in both fields but I think both have shown light in a new perspective to me. Everything in it's own way is wonderful. So that said I encourage each and every one of you my wonderful faithful readers, ok I know you guys are just family and friends but I can pretend that my blog has a following can't I? Try to find the beauty in little things, actually open you're eyes and you're heart to the art around you, whether it's actual drawn art or the nature around you.
peace out
