Korbin's Crossing Over Ceremony!

It wasn't too long ago that I wrote about Korbin joining Cub Scouts, it was a new experience for us. The scouting world has it's own language and set of values but we quickly fell into place and felt at home. Yesterday we had the honor of watching Korbin cross over, He did great and spoke up loudly and didn't act nervous. We were so proud.

The day started at 1600 with a beach party (lucky for us everyone was late and there were only a very few families there for about the first hour!) Katara even got to enjoy the bouncers before the big boys got there! We had a BBQ and around sunset we started the ceremony, it was breezy and beautiful! Kane played with a hermit crab in the gravel and Katara tried her best to collect every piece of coral she could find.

We are so blessed to have such a wonderful son and I pray that our next den/pack will be as great as the one we were in this year!
