Today we carved our pumpkin, we let the kids draw pieces of paper that either had eyes, nose or mouth on them and then they got to choose what the part they drew would look like on the pumpkin. Korbin got mouth-- right away he knew he wanted a vampire pumpkin. Katara drew eyes but she got overwhelmed with all the choices that daddy drew so she traded with Kane and she chose the nose leaving the eyes up to Kane. This year Korbin didn't mind reaching inside the pumpkin too much, which is a first for him. Kane of course dove right in and Katara was a bit reserved but had fun in the end.
Tonight I was supposed to have CP30, Darth Vador and Pricess Leia however CP30 had an issue with his costume and ended up crying because he felt silly in such a wrinkled suit. He later changed into Wolverine after some pictures and was much happier (thank goodness for our extensive dress up bin!) As we were trick or treating in the rain people kept telling us how cute our little Princess Leia was, then Kane would yell back at them "Well I"m Darth Vador!" One time a group of dad's and kids walked by and one said oh hey Wolverine, Kane screamed to him, "Hey, I"m Batman!" Katara really understood trick or treating this year she would say Happy Halloween and then Thank You. After about 6 houses Korbin exclaimed " I have enough candy, we can go home!" but Kane wouldn't stand for that, all in all we went to probably 12 houses or so. We got home and we were all soaking wet. Now the kids are in bed sleeping away I have all the candy laying out to dry a bit before I put it in our candy bowl. What a great Halloween!

Loved all of your postings this morning - thank you for including all of us back here in the states. I got up this morning expecting to see/read about your Halloween & you all came through for me. Justin always does a good job with the pumpkin carving. Can't believe Korbin got involved with the cleaning out process this year.
I gotta show Livvy your Princess Leia- that is adorable. Olivia was PL too but we didn't quite have the hair thing going- not long enough, too cheap to buy a wig, and Livvy's too tender headed to let me fuss with it much. Looks like fun!
