Tonight Katara was playing in the living room and tripped. She wasn't crying so I went over to her and she had her mouth open with blood pouring out, she took a breath in and started screaming. I ran into the bathroom with her and got a dark rag wet to see what was going on, as I tried to mop away the blood I saw that her lip was torn. I was pretty sure she needed stitches so I had Korbin call Justin both on the cell and at work. He was at the gym so we headed out the door. Long story short, she is the bravest baby girl, she didn't cry during her exams, or during her iv. It tore me up as they were stitching her she started coming out of the sedation a little and went from limp with stiff arms to wiggling and crying. They finished up and I held her until she was awake. Can't believe my youngest was the first to get stitches, hopefully this will be the only time we have to make a visit to the ER for a fix.

So sorry she had a spill - thankful stitches are in & she's on her way to recovery! Know the boys were scared as they are so crazy about her. Hope she can rest tonight. Give her a hug for PawPaw & Nena.
Poor thing. That's awesome she was brave. You are very lucky to not have had stiches in the family before- especially with boys! :)
Poor baby!
