We went to Tropical Beach today, it was cool because this was the beach we went to in 2001 when I came to visit. It was basically the way I remembered it. The boys at first said they weren't getting in b/c they didn't want sharks to eat them. So I took them out and showed them the net that protects the swimming area so then they were cool and enjoyed going out...a little too deep sometimes for a mama watching. Katara REALLY enjoyed splashing she also enjoyed eating the seaweed when we weren't looking and a little sand too:( Kane's favorite part was throwing things, he was the little rude kid throwing sand and rocks and seaweed and slime pretty much if it wasn't anchored down he was slinging it. Korbin's favorite part was his swimming and digging in the sand. At one point Korbin was running back and forth from the water to the beach and was dumping buckets of water in a hole he had dug, he got really upset that the water wasn't filling the hole.
It was a good day but after about 3 hours we were READY to head home, we stopped by Baskin Robbin's and got some ice cream before heading home. What a sweet end to our weekend!

about mickey d's. i love that place. i love greasy food. it's terrible. but i do.
oh..another friend of mine from college became a cloth diaper mom this week! :) yay!
